The first edition of OER by Discipline Resource Guide: Concordia University (2020) was an adaptation of the following two resources:
- OER by Discipline Guide: McMaster University by Joanne Kehoe and Olga Perkovic, CC BY
- OER by Discipline Directory by Bccampus, CC BY
Thanks to Chloe Lei, John Vatsis, Laura Lalonde, Dereje Taye, and Ryan Cooper et al. for the essential step of adapting the first edition.
Released in 2023, the second edition of OER by Discipline Resource Guide: Concordia University offers navigational changes and additional potentially relevant open textbooks and course-to-resource mappings. Our OER work-study team of 2022-2023 collaborated with me on leading design changes aimed at accessibility and ease of use as well as the expansion of the listed resources themselves. Thank you to OER work-study assistants Sana Ahmad, Sarah Fakri, and Jonnathan I. Koonings for their meticulous and insightful contributions. Special thanks to students attending our OER workshops for undergraduate students, such as Help OER Grow: Open Educational Resources Have a Future Through Collaboration (first taught on March 8, 2022) and renamed Hunting for Open Educational Resources Suited to Your Discipline, for learning about potentially relevant OER in their courses and contributing to our textbook-course mapping in this living resource guide.
